Project Summary

Adolescent With Talents Summit ’24 is the flagship annual youth development event of Dynamic Works Foundation In Collaboration with Rankdigital, bringing together talented adolescents from underserved communities across Ghana to be mentored, inspired, and equipped to pursue excellence in both academics and creative industries.

The summit offers a dynamic platform for adolescents with skills in music, drama, public speaking, writing, sports, and other creative disciplines to be celebrated, coached, and connected with professionals, mentors, and educational opportunities. It aims to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, foster personal growth, and promote education as the foundation of sustainable success.


Objectives

  • To discover and celebrate the unique talents of adolescents from underserved communities.

  • To connect participants with mentors, professionals, and educational institutions.

  • To inspire a culture of excellence, leadership, and self-belief in youth through interactive learning.

  • To promote academic commitment while nurturing creative and professional potential.

  • To raise awareness on social issues such as gender equity, mental health, and education through artistic expression.


Key Activities

  1. Talent Exhibition Sessions

    • Selected adolescents showcase their talents (music, drama, sports, poetry, dance, etc.)

    • Judges and mentors provide feedback and offer development opportunities.

  2. Breakout Mentorship Circles

    • Participants are grouped based on talent or career interests and mentored by seasoned professionals and creatives.

  3. Panel Discussions & Inspirational Talks

    • Themed conversations with celebrities, industry leaders, and social changemakers on topics such as:

      • “Balancing Talent and Education”

      • “Turning Passion into a Profession”

      • “Mental Health and Self-Worth in the Creative Space”

  4. Life Skills & Confidence Workshops

    • Sessions focused on communication, emotional intelligence, leadership, and personal branding.

  5. Scholarship and Opportunity Pitch

    • A segment where standout participants are selected for further mentorship, scholarships, and sponsorship opportunities.

  6. Talent Awards Ceremony

    • Recognition of outstanding young talents with certificates, medals, or sponsorship packages.


Target Participants

  • Adolescents aged 12–19 from Greater Accra, Oti, and selected rural/underserved communities.

  • Especially those with talent in creative arts, sports, innovation, and leadership.


Expected Outcomes

  • Empowered adolescents with improved self-confidence, leadership skills, and career direction.

  • Discovery of new talents to be nurtured through DWF mentorship and scholarship programs.

  • Stronger linkages between creative mentors, institutions, and talented youth.

  • Promotion of education, self-discipline, and mental wellness through positive role models.
